Nordisk Bergteknik strengthens its financing – corporate bond replaced with bank financing containing sustainability component
Nordisk Bergteknik AB (publ) has redeemed all outstanding corporate bonds of SEK 400 million at an amount corresponding to 103.3 % of the nominal amount. Furthermore, as communicated on 27 September, Nordisk Bergteknik has entered into facilities agreements with Nordea and Swedbank regarding bank financing and has replaced the corporate bond with a bank loan of SEK 400 million. In addition to the bank loan, the company has received a new credit facility of SEK 650 million.
The facility agreement contains a sustainability component which means that Nordisk Bergteknik may agree with the banks on key performance indicators for sustainability which from five days after the preparation of the annual report and a sustainability certificate for 2022 may result in a discount or premium on the interest margin.
“Our new issue of SEK 500 million in connection with the recently completed IPO and the new facilities agreement, including extended credit facilities through the availability of a revolving credit facility of SEK 650 million, means that we have ensured good financial flexibility. In other words, we will continue to take an active role in the consolidation of our industry in the Nordic region and be at the forefront of technology at the same time as our current financing costs are significantly reduced”, comments Andreas Christofferson, CEO of Nordisk Bergteknik.
