Nordisk Bergteknik completes the acquisitions of Rovalin and Soil Mixing Group
As of today, April 28, Nordisk Bergteknik completes the acquisition of Infrastructure Group Nordic AB (“IGN”), which with its two operating subsidiaries Rovalin and Soil Mixing Group, has an annual turnover of approximately SEK 420 million with good profitability. Nordisk Bergteknik announced during the first quarter that it had entered into an agreement regarding the acquisition of all shares in IGN. The acquisition was conditioned by an approval by the Swedish Competition Authority, which has now been obtained. The acquisitions will be reported in the Foundation Sweden segment and is assessed to contribute in the order of SEK 0.80 in earnings per share on an annual basis.
Stockholm-based Rovalin was founded in 2014 and today has 45 employees. The company offers services within foundation and has a leading market position as a supplier of a comprehensive offer in deep foundation. Soil Mixing Group offers services in soil and soil reinforcement for properties and construction projects around Sweden and in Norway and currently has 22 employees.
“It is very gratifying to complete the acquisitions of Rovalin and Soil Mixing Group and begin our cooperation. The acquisition is our largest ever and means that we expand in the Stockholm region, which is one of the Nordic region’s largest local markets in foundation solutions. During the past year, we have made three acquisitions in the Foundation Sweden segment, which has strengthened the Group both geographically and in terms of expertise”, says Andreas Christoffersson, CEO of Nordisk Bergteknik.
