Nordisk Bergteknik offers a competitive and wide range of services that are generally applied at an early stage in the value chain of construction and infrastructure projects, such as rock management, reinforcement and foundation work for roads, railways and buildings, as well as for projects in the growing mining industry and the wind power sector, for example.
Nordisk Bergteknik can also take on greater responsibility, including material handling, excavation and transport, either independently or in collaboration with subcontractors.
The Group’s largest primary customer group includes major construction and building contractors, and in about three quarters of Nordisk Bergteknik’s assignments, in terms of sales, the end customer is the public sector. The Group also carries out assignments for private sector clients in sectors including the wind farm, construction and mining industries.

Growth
Nordisk Bergteknik aims to grow profitably both organically and through selective acquisitions. Organic growth will be driven partly by underlying market growth and partly through long-standing customer relationships and high-quality deliveries. The aim is to acquire locally leading and profitable companies that complement and strengthen the core business.
The overall strategy is divided into three parts:
- Drive focused organic growth in priority regions through high utilisation of the machine fleet, effective management and strategic pricing.
- Achieve scalability and synergies through integration and efficiency across the Group.
- Carry out selective and profitable acquisitions that strengthen the core business and complement the existing service offering.

Business model
Nordisk Bergteknik manages a diversified portfolio comprising a large number of small and large-scale projects, which are typically invoiced on a monthly basis and on a running account, underscoring the low level of risk in the business.
The Group has long-term business relationships and strives to have the industry’s most satisfied customers through a strong customer focus, close collaboration and sustainable deliveries of the highest quality.
